As one of the Front-Runner Cities in the euPOLIS project, The City of Piraeus will host an Online Workshop on Wednesday, October 20th, starting at 17,00 local time.

Being one of the four pilot cities, The City of Piraeus is a testing ground for the implementation of nature-based solutions (NBS) aiming to improve citizens’ health and overall well-being.

To make sure that this innovative and citizens’-centered approach indeed tackles their needs, and helps respond to challenges, the City invites all citizens and passers-by of the Akti Dilaveri – Mikrolimano coast to join this workshop.

This way, citizens can help experts in designing friendlier and livable cities in which inhabitants have equal access to a healthy environment.

Piraeus invites you to an open discussion with all residents, local businesses and professionals, institutions, organizations, visitors, and all those who live and work in the wider area of the Akti Dilaveri – Microlimano coast.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday 20 October at 17:00 via video conference. JOIN HERE

  • The first part of the workshop will be dedicated to informing citizens about the principles and methodology of euPOLIS, to provide information on the innovative solutions (NBS) that could be implemented in the region.
  • In the second part of the workshop, citizens will share their views, concerns, and suggestions that they would like to see implemented in the region, so that the working group can collaborate with the euPOLIS team, to lay the groundwork for the best solutions that could be designed and implemented in the region within the project.

       Everyone’s presence is important.
