The City of Trebinje, one of the euPOLIS Follower Cities is one of this year’s candidates for the “CHAMPIONS OF NATURE PROTECTION, BIH GREEN AWARDS” 2022. Trebinje is nominated in the City/Municipality category.

This campaign promotes useful, innovative, and creative approaches to preserving nature and the environment in the country. It aims to find companies, cities, NGOs, foundations, colleges, schools, kindergartens, individuals, and informal civic initiatives that successfully promote true values ​​in the field of nature and environmental protection and motivate others. The campaign is supported by the European Union within the project GreenWorks GreenWorks – the impact of civil society on reducing air and soil pollution.
A platform will be set up on the website of the Center for Development and Support where visitors will be able to vote for their favorites from March 15th until April 15, 2022.
